Much of me wanted to spend Black Friday in the ludicrous lines just to say I did it however, I opted to continue my thanksgiving festivities and leave the fighting to the pro shoppers. It didn’t seem like Black Friday was limited to shops in America - before I left for the U.S, I was seeing a lot of advertising for Black Friday deals happening in Canada. Furthermore, MasterCard Canada invited me to participate in Black Friday deals that they were offering, which made for a very happy Crystal.

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to indulge (although I shouldn’t considering the holidays are right around the corner and I should be spending on everyone but myself). In any case, I needed a new pair of black riding boots. I found some earlier in the fall at Madewell but turned my back on them. When I realized that I did want them, it was too late. Anyway, Frye boots are known to last a long time and they are just too cool - I found a pair on the Bloomingdale’s website and didn’t waste time ordering them. 

I received free shipping as well as waived duty, which saved me $83.00!!
